Ten tiers, defined
Every grade from 1 (poorest) to 10 (best) has a written definition published below. Collectors and resellers can cross-reference each tier against international benchmarks before submitting. Of course, we reserve our sole discretion in deciding on the grade of a particular card and other grading companys' standard is not binding upon us.

NM–MT — 8
Near Mint — 7
Perfectly centered. No surface wear. Corners and edges factory-sharp. Print registration exact. The highest standard.
Near-perfect with minimal imperfection. EXCELLENT Centering. Corners crisp. Surface clean under standard magnification.
Very slight wear on one or two corners. Surface and print remain clean. GOOD Centering.
Light wear on corners or edges. Gloss mostly intact and clean. very light scratchES MAY PRESENT.

MAY HAVE VISIBLE SURFACE WEAR WITH LIGHT SCRATCHES. SLIGHT WHITENING.

Light CREASE MAY PRESENT. SCRATCHES SURFACE WEAR AND WHITENING ARE MORE OBVIOUS.

Scratches, print lines, and staining assessed under 10× magnification. Graded 1–10 against documented defect thresholds.
Chipping, nicking, and whitening measured at each of four corners and all four edges. Scores averaged against published wear thresholds.
Front and back centering measured as percentage ratios. Deductions applied per published tolerance bands at each grade tier.
